An internationally respected arbitrator with over 30 years of experience, Paul Sills is regularly appointed to resolve high-value, multi-party disputes across jurisdictions and sectors.
Based in London and a member of Arbitra International, Paul acts as a sole, presiding, or co-arbitrator under a range of institutional and ad hoc rules. His arbitration experience spans the UK Arbitration Act 1996 and 2025, ICC, SIAC, DIAC, HKIAC, LMAA and others, and he has been appointed to over 70 tribunals involving construction, energy, marine, commercial, and financial disputes. Paul is also a Chairperson on the European Commission’s arbitration panel for trade disputes and a member of numerous arbitral institution panels globally.
With a background as both a commercial barrister and company director, Paul combines legal expertise with deep commercial insight—ensuring well-reasoned, pragmatic, and enforceable decisions in complex cross-border cases.
